However, most people don't listen very well. This course will help you to improve your ability to listen to others. You will learn the skills you need to understand what people say, read their unconscious nonverbal messages, and get others to want to listen to you. You also learn how to apply these skills in a variety of business situations such as interviews, business meetings, and negotiations.

• Effective Listening Simulation

Although relatively straightforward in theory, the process that transforms effective listening into successful communication requires great skill, awareness and practice. In the course of this simulation, you will attend a day-long seminar, studying the topic of Effective Listening through various exercises, lectures, quizzes and small-group activities. The day's events will be guided by an instructor, and your fellow conference attendees will be business professionals from various fields and experience levels.
